Compliment (referred to in this policy as "Compliment", "we," and "us") respects the privacy of its users (“you”) and has prepared this Privacy Policy to demonstrate its intention to protect your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how it may be used and with whom it may be shared. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully when using our app or services or transacting business with us. By using our products (our “Service”), you are accepting this Privacy Policy.
We may collect Personal Information, including Sensitive Data, and other information. “Personal Information” means identifiable information that would allow us to determine identity, and contact, a person. Sensitive Data includes information, interactions or content (e.g. photos, video, bio, description) that you provide that may reveal your identity, ethnic origin, nationality, religion and/or sexual orientation. In order to register as a user with Compliment, you will be asked to sign in using your Facebook login. If you do so, you authorize us to access certain Facebook account information, such as your public Facebook profile (consistent with your privacy settings in Facebook), in addition and not limited to your email address, interests, likes, gender, birthday, education history, relationship status and interests, location, photos, personal description, friend list, we may also collect information about your Facebook friends. You will also be asked to allow Compliment to collect your location information from your device when you use the Service. In addition, we may collect and store any personal information you provide while using our Service or in some other manner. This may include identifying information, such as your name, address, email address and telephone number, and, if you transact business with us, financial information. You may also provide us with additional photos, a personal description and information about your gender and preferences for people recommendations, such as search distance, age, and gender. If you chat with other Compliment users, you provide us the content of your chats.
We use various technologies to collect information from your device and about your interactions with our Service.
We automatically collect information from your browser or device when you visit our Service. This information could include your IP address, device ID, make and model, your browser type and language, the operating system used by your device, access times, your geographic location while our Service is actively running, and the referring website address.
When you visit our Service, we may assign your device one or more identifying cookies or other technologies that facilitate personalization to facilitate access to our Service and to personalize your experience. Through the use of a cookie, we also may automatically collect information about your activity on our Service, such as time of your visits, the pages you visit and the buttons you click. If we advertise, we or third parties may use data previously collected to show you Compliment advertisements on other services, sites or applications. We may also embed pixel tags in our Service, on web pages, ads, and email communications. These pixels may assign or access identifying Cookies and track activities. We may use information collected through these identifying technologies to measure popularity of our features and services. Third party advertising companies may also use pixel tags to measure the number of ads displayed and their performance.
When you use our app, we collect your unique device ID or Advertising ID to recognize you and may use such identifiers to track your use of our app. Advertising ID can be reset in “Settings” if you are using iPhone. Third party advertising companies also use unique device ID or Advertising ID to track your use of the app, track served ads, determine ad performance and show you ads that are relevant to you. Analytics third parties use unique identifiers to track information about app usage.
We may allow third parties, such as advertising companies, to display advertisements on our Service or on other services. These third parties may use tracking technologies, such as cookies or pixels, to collect information about users who view or interact with their advertisements. We do not provide any non-masked or non-obscured personal information to third parties. Some of these third-party advertising companies may be advertising networks that are members of the Network Advertising Initiative, which offers a single location to opt out of ad targeting from member companies (www.networkadvertising.org). To deliver and improve our products and services, and manage our business, manage your account and provide you with assistance, perform research and analysis about your usage or interest in different products, services, or content, communicate with you about products or services that may be of interest to you either from us or other third parties, by email, notifications, mail, telephone and/or mobile devices. To create, display, and track content and advertising based on your interests, on our Service and other services, including displaying our ads to you when you visit other services. We also use information we collect to for Service, website and mobile application analytics; to verify your eligibility and deliver prizes in connection with contests. To enforce or exercise any rights in misuse of the Service. We may also use collected information to perform functions or services as otherwise described to you at the time of collection that fall within or outside this privacy policy.

When you register as a user of Compliment, your Compliment profile will be viewable by other users of the Service. Other users, the individuals or apps with whom a Compliment user may choose to share you with, will be able to view information you have provided to us directly or through Facebook, such as your photos, any additional photos you upload, your name, your age, distance, your bio, and interests and connections that you have in common with the person viewing your information, such as common Facebook friends and likes. Your information will also be shared with people you like, compliment, message, and/or chat with.
We may share information, including personal and financial information, with third parties that perform services on our behalf. These services may include fulfilling orders, customer support, marketing, performing data analysis, tracking, analytics, member reviewing, consultancy, and other parties who provide us with services that support our Service and partners.
We may also disclose your information, including personal information in response to a subpoena or similar investigative demand, a court order, or a request for cooperation from a law enforcement or other government agency; to establish or exercise our legal rights; to defend against legal claims. In such cases, we may raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us.

There are a number of places on our Service where you may click on a link that leads to other websites that do not operate under this Privacy Policy. These third- party websites may independently solicit and collect information, including personal information, from you and, in some instances, provide us with information about your visits and interactions with those websites.
We keep your information as long as we need it for legitimate business purposes. If you close your account, we will retain certain data for analytical purposes and recordkeeping integrity, to prevent fraud, enforce proper use, take actions to protect our Service integrity or our users, or to take other actions otherwise permitted by law. In addition, if certain information has already been provided to third parties as described in this Privacy Policy, retention of that information will be subject to those third parties’ policies.
Our Service may deliver push notifications to your device. You can disable these notifications from Settings of your mobile device.
You can also control information collected by cookies. You can delete or decline cookies by changing your browser settings.
